Zach Boren Biography

Zach Boren, born on May 13, 1991, is an American former professional football fullback. Zach Boren competed in college football as a member of the Ohio State University team. Boren originally played fullback but was converted to linebacker midway through his senior season. He began the 2012 season as a fullback, but prior to Ohio State's game against the Indiana Hoosiers, he was moved to linebacker by the coaching staff. He played linebacker for the remainder of the season, recording 50 tackles, a sack, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. He was named to the Jewish Sports Review 2012 College Football All-America Team. On April 27, 2013, he signed with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent following the 2013 NFL draft.
