Xavier Worthy Biography

Xavier Worthy, born on April 27, 2003, is an American professional football wide receiver who has played for the Kansas City Chiefs in the National Football League. He played college football for the Texas Longhorns and earned three All-Big 12 honors during his tenure. Worthy set the 40-yard dash record at the NFL Combine with a time of 4.21 seconds and was selected by the Chiefs in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft. He was named to the 2021 All-American Bowl, though the event was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Worthy secured immediate playing time during his freshman season at Texas in 2021. He broke the Texas school freshman record for receiving yards in a game with 261 yards against Oklahoma. At the end of his freshman season, he received true-freshman All-American honors from Pro Football Focus, 247 Sports, and the FWAA.
