Will Anderson Jr. was born on September 2, 2001, and is an American professional football defensive end who has played in the National Football League. He played college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide and earned the Bronko Nagurski Trophy during his tenure, contributing to Alabama's national championship win in 2020. Anderson was selected by the Houston Texans with the third overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, following the team's acquisition of the pick to secure him. He was awarded NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2023 after a standout debut season with the Texans. He was named to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Super 11 team and participated in the 2020 All-American Bowl during his high school career.
