Tyson Foerster, born on January 18, 2002, is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who has played as a right winger for the Philadelphia Flyers in the National Hockey League. The Flyers selected Foerster in the first round, 23rd overall, during the 2020 NHL entry draft. In his final season with the Barrie Jr. Colts, Foerster recorded 20 goals and 61 points across 34 games. Foerster was chosen by the Barrie Colts in the third round, 55th overall, of the 2018 OHL Priority Selection and signed with the team that September. During his second season with the Barrie Colts, Foerster achieved a point streak of 13 straight games, including six consecutive multi-point performances. With the Ontario Hockey League on hiatus due to the pandemic, Foerster participated in the Flyers training camp ahead of the 2020–21 season. Foerster made his NHL debut on March 9, 2023, playing nearly fourteen minutes against the Carolina Hurricanes, where he blocked three shots and recorded two shots on goal.
