Tyler Lockett Biography

Tyler Deron Lockett, born on September 28, 1992, is an American professional football wide receiver. Tyler Lockett played college football at Kansas State before being drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the third round of the 2015 NFL draft. In college, he set numerous Kansas State football records and was a 2011 All-American as a kickoff returner and a 2014 College Football All-America Team consensus All-American as a punt returner. In 2012, he was an honorable mention All-Big 12 Conference performer for the Kansas State Wildcats. Lockett became a starting wide receiver and amassed over 1,000 receiving yards in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. Tyler Lockett ranks second in team history with 8,594 receiving yards, 661 receptions, and 61 receiving touchdowns. Lockett played in the 2011 season as a true freshman despite intending to redshirt in order to build strength.
