Ty Law, born on February 10, 1974, played 15 seasons in the National Football League as a professional cornerback. He played college football at the University of Michigan, earning first-team All-American honors before being selected by the Patriots in the 1995 NFL draft. During his tenure with the New England Patriots, Law earned four Pro Bowl selections and two first-team All-Pro honors over a span of 10 seasons. Law concluded his NFL career with stints for the New York Jets, Kansas City Chiefs, and Denver Broncos, earning a fifth Pro Bowl selection while with the Jets. He ranks 24th in NFL history for career interceptions and led the league in interceptions during the 1998 and 2005 seasons. Law spent 1992–94 at Michigan, earned first-team All-American recognition, and received unanimous All-Big Ten honors twice. Law made his professional regular-season debut on September 3, 1995, in a game against the Cleveland Browns, recording two solo tackles in a 17–14 Patriots victory.
