Trey Hendrickson Biography

Trey Hendrickson, born on December 5, 1994, is an American professional football linebacker who has played in the National Football League. Trey Hendrickson was chosen by the New Orleans Saints in the third round of the 2017 NFL draft after playing college football for the Florida Atlantic Owls. Hendrickson signed with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2021 and earned the 2024 Deacon Jones Award after leading the NFL in sacks that season. He attended Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton and played for the Owls from 2013 through 2016. Hendrickson was projected by most NFL draft experts and scouts to be a third or fourth round pick. On September 17, 2017, he made his professional regular season debut against the New England Patriots, recording three combined tackles in the Saints' 36–20 loss. In the 2018 season, he appeared in five regular season games and recorded eight combined tackles and four quarterback hits.
