Trevon Diggs Biography

Trevon De'Sean Diggs, born on September 20, 1998, is an American professional football cornerback. Trevon Diggs played his collegiate football with the Alabama Crimson Tide before being chosen by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the 2020 NFL draft. As a junior in 2018, Diggs started the first six games of the season before being lost for the year with a broken foot sustained against Arkansas. Trevon Diggs recorded three combined tackles, including two solo stops, in his first career start during the Dallas Cowboys' season-opening game against the Los Angeles Rams on September 13, 2020, in a 17–20 contest. On September 9, 2021, Diggs recorded one solo tackle, two pass deflections, and intercepted a pass from Tom Brady to Leonard Fournette in a 29–31 game against the Buccaneers. On September 26, 2022, Trevon Diggs recorded one solo tackle, three pass deflections, and an interception during a 23–16 victory over the New York Giants with 1:17 remaining. On September 10, 2023, Diggs recorded three solo tackles and one pass deflection in the Cowboys' season-opening victory over the New York Giants, resulting in a 40–0 win.
