Trent John Alexander-Arnold, born 7 October 1998, is an English professional footballer who has played as a right-back or midfielder for La Liga club Real Madrid and the England national team. Trent Alexander-Arnold demonstrates strong passing accuracy, effective crossing, high assist rates, and proficiency in set-piece execution. Alexander-Arnold received the 2019–20 PFA Young Player of the Year award and was named the inaugural Premier League Young Player of the Season, contributing to Liverpool’s 2019–20 title win. After helping Liverpool secure their second Premier League title, he joined La Liga club Real Madrid in 2025. He made his senior debut for England in 2018 following appearances at various youth levels. In the buildup to the 2015–16 season, he was included in Liverpool’s first team squad for a pre-season friendly, marking his unofficial debut in a 2–1 win.
