Fe'Zahn Tremaine Edmunds, born on May 2, 1998, is an American professional football linebacker who has played in the National Football League. He played college football at Virginia Tech and was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the first round of the 2018 NFL draft. During his junior season, Edmunds recorded 123 tackles, four sacks, two interceptions, two blocked kicks, and two forced fumbles. A 3-star recruit, he chose Virginia Tech over offers from Cincinnati, East Carolina, Hampton, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, USC, and Virginia. In 2017, he was a finalist for the Butkus Award after compiling 108 tackles and 5.5 sacks. On January 10, 2018, Edmunds announced via Twitter that he would forgo his remaining college eligibility to enter the NFL draft. He was widely projected as a first-round pick by NFL draft experts and scouts prior to the draft.
