Travis Kelce Biography

Travis Kelce, born October 5, 1989, is an American professional football tight end who has played for the Kansas City Chiefs in the National Football League. Travis Kelce joined the Chiefs in 2013 after being drafted in the third round and contributed to their victories in Super Bowls LIV, LVII, and LVIII. Kelce has been named an 11-time Pro Bowler and a seven-time All-Pro, including four first-team and three second-team selections. Travis Kelce recorded 1,416 receiving yards in 2020 across 15 games, a single-season high for a tight end. During the 2022 season, Kelce became the fifth NFL tight end to reach 10,000 career receiving yards and achieved the milestone faster than any tight end in NFL history. Kelce was named to the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team, recognizing his elite performance over the decade. During the 2023 season, he surpassed Jerry Rice in career playoff receptions en route to winning Super Bowl LVIII, marking his fourth Super Bowl appearance in five seasons.
