Torry Holt Biography

Torry Jabar Holt, born on June 5, 1976, played as a wide receiver in the National Football League for 11 seasons. He earned seven Pro Bowl selections and retired with the 10th most receiving yards in NFL history, including six consecutive seasons with 1,300 yards. Holt played college football for the NC State Wolfpack from 1995 to 1998 after attending North Carolina State University. In his senior year, he was honored as the Atlantic Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Year. As a senior, he was named a consensus first-team All-American. Torry Holt, weighing 192 pounds, recorded a 4.44 second 40-yard dash and a 37-inch vertical jump at the 1999 NFL Combine. He began the 2000 season with two consecutive games featuring over 100 receiving yards.
