Tony Ferguson Biography

Anthony Armand Ferguson Padilla born on February 12, 1984, is an American professional mixed martial artist and boxer who holds the MFB Middleweight Championship title. He has competed professionally since 2008, joining the UFC after winning The Ultimate Fighter 13 in 2011 and remaining until 2025. After high school, he attended Central Michigan University before transferring to Grand Valley State University. Following college, he returned to California to be near family, balancing marketing and sales work with evening bartending shifts. Ferguson launched his professional MMA career in small California-based organizations in 2007. After his debut, he returned to lightweight and fought Aaron Riley on September 24, 2011, at UFC 135. He faced former champion Rafael dos Anjos on November 5, 2016, at the Ultimate Fighter Latin America 3 Finale.
