Toni Kukoc Biography

Toni Kukoč, born on September 18, 1968, is a Croatian former professional basketball player who holds the role of special advisor to Chicago Bulls owner Jerry Reinsdorf. After achieving prominence in European basketball, he became one of the first well-established European players to join the National Basketball Association. Kukoc played for four NBA teams between 1993 and 2006, earning the NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award in 1996. He won three NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls in 1996, 1997, and 1998. Kukoc earned Olympic silver medals while representing Yugoslavia in 1988 and Croatia in 1992. In 2023, he was honored as part of the inaugural class of the Chicago Bulls' Ring of Honor. He was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in 1990 and remained in Europe before joining the team in 1993, shortly after Michael Jordan's first retirement.
