Tommy White Biography

Thomas Anthony White, born on March 2, 2003, is an American professional baseball player who has played as a first baseman and third baseman for the Athletics in Major League Baseball. He made his MLB debut in 2026 after a standout collegiate career. White batted .378 during his only season at IMG and earned All-American honors. He played college baseball for the NC State Wolfpack at North Carolina State University. On May 28, 2022, he hit his fourth home run in two games during the ACC Tournament, finishing the season with 27 home runs and surpassing Todd Green's 1990 freshman record of 26. White was recognized as a 2022 Dick Howser Trophy semifinalist and a finalist for the Golden Spikes Award. He was named to the 2023 College World Series All-Tournament Team after helping LSU win the 2023 national championship.
