Tobin Heath Biography

Tobin Powell Heath, born on May 29, 1988, is an American former professional soccer player and entrepreneur. She has competed in the 2008, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2019, and 2020 Olympic and World Cup tournaments, winning gold, silver, and bronze medals. She was named U.S. Soccer Young Female Athlete of the Year in 2009 and U.S. Soccer Athlete of the Year in 2016. Heath has won two NWSL Championships with Portland Thorns and last played professionally in 2022 for OL Reign. Heath won three Division I national college championships with the University of North Carolina during 2006-09. She was ranked as the No. 2 recruit in the nation in the Class of 2006 and was named to the Parade Magazine All-America team in 2005. On December 10, 2010, she was traded to Sky Blue FC along with teammates Eniola Aluko and Angie Kerr in exchange for draft picks and future considerations.
