Thomas Davis Biography

Thomas Antonio Davis Sr. was born on March 22, 1983, and played 16 seasons as a linebacker in the National Football League. Thomas Davis played college football for the University of Georgia in the early 2000s and was named a consensus All-American. Davis was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the first round of the 2005 NFL draft and spent 14 years with the team. After brief stints with the Los Angeles Chargers and Washington Football Team, he concluded his career following the 2020 season. He overcame three ACL tears during his professional football career. He played for the University of Georgia from 2002 to 2004 and was recognized as a consensus All-American. On September 18, 2005, he recorded two solo tackles and made his first career sack in a 27–17 win against the New England Patriots in Week 2.
