Terry O'Reilly Biography

Terence Joseph James O'Reilly, born on June 7, 1951, is a Canadian former professional ice hockey right winger. He played for the NHL's Boston Bruins and appeared in three Stanley Cup Finals. O'Reilly maintained part-time studies at the University of Toronto, the University of Ottawa, and Boston University throughout his career. He was selected by the Boston Bruins in the first round, 14th overall, in the 1971 NHL Amateur Draft. After only one year in the minors, O'Reilly joined the Bruins during the 1972–73 season. During the 1973–74 season, he played in 76 games and recorded 35 points, including his first season with 10 or more goals. In the 1974–75 season, he earned his first NHL All-Star Game appearance, scoring 1 goal and recording 1 assist in the game.
