Terry Glenn Biography

Terry Tyree Glenn, born on July 23, 1974, was an American professional football player who played as a wide receiver in the NFL for the New England Patriots, Green Bay Packers, and Dallas Cowboys. He was selected by the New England Patriots with the seventh overall pick in the 1996 NFL draft. Glenn played college football at Ohio State, earning consensus All-American honors in 1995. Glenn won AAA state championships in the 110 hurdles and 330 hurdles during 1989–90. In 1998, Glenn recorded 193 receiving yards in a single game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, setting a Patriots team record. In 1999, he led the Patriots with 69 receptions for 1,147 yards, averaging 16.6 yards per catch, and scored 4 touchdowns in 14 games. In the lead-up to the 2001 season, Glenn faced a series of off-field challenges that impacted his career trajectory.
