Terry Bradshaw Biography

Terry Bradshaw, born on September 2, 1948, played 14 seasons in the NFL as a professional quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Since 1994, he has served as a television sports analyst and co-host of Fox NFL Sunday. He won four Super Bowls in a six-year span, including in 1974, 1975, 1978, and 1979, and became the first quarterback to win three and four Super Bowls. Bradshaw was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1989, his first year of eligibility, and into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1996. He chose to attend Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, where he was recruited by future Hall of Fame coach Jimmy Johnson. Before Bradshaw, another player named Robertson had been the starter in 1966 and 1967 and did not play in 1968. In 1969, Bradshaw was regarded by most professional scouts as the most outstanding college football player in the nation.
