Tee Higgins Biography

Tamaurice William Higgins, known as Tee Higgins, was born on January 18, 1999, and has played as a professional football wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals in the National Football League. Higgins played college football for the Clemson Tigers, winning the 2019 College Football Playoff National Championship as a sophomore before being selected by the Bengals in the second round of the 2020 NFL draft. A five star recruit, Higgins initially committed to the University of Tennessee but later transferred to Clemson University to continue his football career. Higgins also played high school basketball and received scholarship offers from multiple colleges to play collegiate basketball. As a freshman at Clemson in 2017, Higgins appeared in 13 games and recorded 17 receptions for 345 yards and two touchdowns. Higgins began his sophomore season in 2018 as a starting wide receiver for the Clemson Tigers. Tee Higgins opted to enter the 2020 NFL draft instead of completing his final year of college eligibility.
