Sebastian Paweł Janikowski, born on March 2, 1978, is a Polish-born former professional football placekicker who played in the NFL for 19 seasons, primarily with the Oakland Raiders. Sebastian Janikowski was chosen 17th in the 2000 NFL draft by the Raiders after playing college football at Florida State. During his final season, Janikowski played for the Seattle Seahawks. Janikowski ranks as the Raiders' all-time leading scorer and holds the franchise record for most games played by a player. Janikowski scored 15 goals in five games for Orangewood Christian, guiding the team to the Class A State Championship match which ended in a 3–2 loss to Lakeland Christian via penalty kicks. As a senior at Seabreeze, Janikowski played both soccer and football after being recruited by the school's football coach. After being heavily recruited by some of the top collegiate football programs, Janikowski decided on Florida State University.
