Sean O'Malley Biography

Sean Daniel O'Malley, born October 24, 1994, is an American professional mixed martial artist. He has competed in the Bantamweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. O'Malley received the nickname Sugar from one of his MMA coaches in Montana early in his career. After amateur records of 9–2 in MMA, 4–0 in kickboxing, and 2–0 in boxing, he debuted professionally in Montana and later fought in North Dakota and the Legacy Fighting Alliance. Following his win over David Nuzzo, he earned a spot on Dana White's Contender Series 2 to face Alfred Khashakyan. His promotional debut occurred against Terrion Ware on December 1, 2017, at The Ultimate Fighter 26 Finale. Sean O'Malley secured victory in the bout through a unanimous decision from the judges.
