Sammy Watkins, born on June 14, 1993, is an American former professional football player who played as a wide receiver in the National Football League. He played college football for the Clemson Tigers and earned first-team All-American honors twice during his tenure. Watkins was selected by the Buffalo Bills with the fourth overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft. He later became a Super Bowl champion as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs. As a senior in college, he recorded eight 100-yard receiving games, finishing with 54 catches for 1,268 yards and 12 touchdowns. He was a highly touted recruit prior to the 2011 college football season. Sammy Watkins chose to attend Clemson University in November of 2010.
