With the Seattle Seahawks, Wilson earned nine Pro Bowl selections and contributed to the team’s first Super Bowl victory in Super Bowl XLVIII. He played college football and baseball for NC State from 2008 to 2010 before transferring to Wisconsin, where he achieved a single-season FBS passer rating record and led the team to a Big Ten title and the 2012 Rose Bowl. He led the Seahawks to two consecutive Super Bowl appearances, winning Super Bowl XLVIII and losing Super Bowl XLIX after a goal-line interception by Malcolm Butler.
