Roy Orville Williams, born April 30, 1937, was an American football defensive tackle who played one season with the San Francisco 49ers in the NFL. He was selected by the Detroit Lions in the second round of the 1963 NFL draft following his college football career at the University of the Pacific. After completing his service in the Navy, he enrolled at the University of the Pacific to pursue his education and athletic career. He played on the football team from 1959 to 1962 and earned letters as a two-year starter from 1961 to 1962. Williams also competed in track during his time at the University of the Pacific. He was invited to play in the Chicago Charities College All-Star Game after his senior year of college football. He was honored with induction into the University of the Pacific athletics hall of fame in 2008.
