Reginald Howard White, born December 19, 1961, played 15 seasons in the NFL as a defensive end. He earned unanimous All-American honors while playing college football for the Tennessee Volunteers. After two seasons with the Memphis Showboats in the USFL, he was selected in the 1984 NFL Supplemental Draft. White helped redefine player rights by pioneering free agency in professional sports. He is enshrined in both the College Football Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame. As a sophomore in 1981, he recorded 95 tackles, including 61 solo, with eight sacks and seven tackles-for-loss. In his senior year of 1983, he achieved 100 tackles, 72 solo, 15 sacks, nine tackles-for-loss, and an interception.
