Reggie Bush Biography

Reginald Alfred Bush II, born on March 2, 1985, is an American former professional football player who played as a running back in the National Football League. He earned consensus All-American honors twice while playing college football for the USC Trojans and won the 2005 Heisman Trophy. Reggie Bush achieved recognition as a top college football player through his athletic accomplishments and performance. He was named an All-Pro punt returner in 2008 and helped the New Orleans Saints win Super Bowl XLIV in 2010. After retiring from professional football, Bush worked as a college football analyst for Fox Sports. He received an athletic scholarship to attend the University of Southern California and played for the Trojans from 2003 to 2005 under head coach Pete Carroll. Bush was a consensus first-team Freshman All-American in 2003 and became the first Trojan since 1974 to lead the Pacific-10 Conference in kickoff returns.
