Rashee Rice Biography

Rashee Marquan Rice, born on April 22, 2000, is an American professional football wide receiver who has played for the Kansas City Chiefs in the National Football League. He played college football for the Southern Methodist University Mustangs, contributing significantly during his tenure. Rice set the NFL record for most postseason receptions by a rookie, catching 26 passes during the Chiefs' 2023–24 playoff run, surpassing Ja'Marr Chase's 25 catches from the 2021–22 playoffs. During his senior year of high school, he recorded 51 receptions for 841 yards and five touchdowns despite being frequently double-teamed. As a freshman in college, he played in ten games and recorded 25 receptions for 403 yards and one touchdown. As a junior, he had 64 receptions for 670 yards and nine touchdowns, earning honorable mention All-American Athletic Conference recognition. He opened the 2024 season with seven receptions for 103 yards in a 27–20 win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1.
