Robert Davis Jr. was born on October 21, 2001, and is an American professional basketball player. He has played college basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels. During his junior year, Davis recorded 25.4 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and 1.7 steals per game. Davis earned The Journal News Westchester/Putnam Player of the Year honor and contributed to his team's advancement to the city championship game. He was named a McDonald's All-American and received the honor of Mr. New York Basketball. Davis was initially ranked 197th by 247Sports in early 2019 but climbed to No. 43 in the Class of 2020 according to ESPN. Davis was a consistent starter and key part of the five-man unit that guided North Carolina to the 2022 National Championship game alongside Bacot, Manek, Love, and Black.
