Peter L Warrick, born on June 19, 1977, was an American former professional football player who played as a wide receiver in the National Football League for six seasons. He played college football for the Florida State Seminoles, earning consensus All-American honors twice and winning the 1999 National Championship with the team. Selected by the Cincinnati Bengals with the fourth overall pick in the 2000 NFL draft, he played professionally for the Bengals and Seattle Seahawks, as well as the Bloomington Extreme in the Indoor Football League. Warrick served as team captain during his high school years and led Southeast High to two consecutive state titles. He was named MVP of the 2000 Sugar Bowl, recording over 160 yards receiving and three touchdowns, including a 59-yard punt return. On January 14, 2026, Warrick was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. On September 29, 1999, during his senior season at Florida State, he and teammate Laveranues Coles purchased $412.38 worth of clothing for $21.40 at a Tallahassee mall.
