Percy Harvin Biography

William Percy Harvin III was born on May 28, 1988, and played as a wide receiver in the National Football League. He played college football for the Florida Gators, who won the BCS National Championship in 2006 and 2008. Selected in the first round of the 2009 NFL draft, he played for the Minnesota Vikings after earning two first-team All-American honors. Percy Harvin received the Associated Press Offensive Rookie of the Year award in 2009 and later secured a Super Bowl title with the Seahawks in 2013 against the Denver Broncos. A year later, Harvin led the Eagles' football team to a perfect 14–0 record and a Virginia High School League Group AAA Division 6 state championship. Harvin recorded 476 all-purpose yards and five touchdowns in a 47–20 win over James Robinson High School, contributing through rushing, receiving, kick returns, and interception returns. Following his stellar high school career, Harvin participated in the 2006 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
