Paul Posluszny Biography

Paul Michael Posluszny, born October 10, 1984, is an American former professional football player who played as a linebacker in the National Football League for eleven seasons, primarily with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He played college football for the Penn State Nittany Lions, earning the Chuck Bednarik Award and the Dick Butkus Award during his career. Posluszny was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the second round of the 2007 NFL draft. After spending four seasons with the Bills, he joined the Jacksonville Jaguars and remained with the team for the rest of his professional career. He earned Pro Bowl honors in 2013 after leading the league in solo tackles that season. In 2024, he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. He decided to return to Penn State for his senior year in 2006, completing the season with 116 tackles and a school record of 372 career tackles.
