Nyjah Huston Biography

Nyjah Imani Huston, born November 30, 1994, is an American professional skateboarder known for his technical precision and dominance in street skateboarding. With substantial sponsorships and earnings from competitions, Huston ranks among the highest-paid skateboarders globally. He has secured 15 gold medals at the X Games since 2011 and claimed gold at the SLS Super Crown World Championship in 2010, 2012, 2014, 2017, 2019, and 2024. Huston earned his first Olympic medal, a bronze, in the men's street event at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France. He first gained recognition after winning his initial street contest at the 2005 Tampa Am and signing with Element Skateboards. During his early career with Element, he featured in major video series and competed in prominent events like the Dew Tour and Vans Downtown Showdown. After the closure of I&I, Huston rejoined Element and released the solo video Rise & Shine in 2011, which later won "Best Video Part" from Transworld Skateboarding magazine.
