Nick Vannett Biography

Nick Vannett, born on March 6, 1993, is an American professional football tight end who has played in the National Football League. He played college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes and was part of the team that won the 2015 College Football Playoff National Championship. Vannett was chosen by the Seattle Seahawks in the third round of the 2016 NFL draft. He played high school football for the Warhawks football team. As a senior, he recorded 47 receptions for 606 yards and eight touchdowns. He contributed significantly to Ohio State’s journey to their first national championship since 2002. On December 8, 2015, it was reported that Vannett had accepted an invitation to play in the 2016 Senior Bowl.
