Nick Foles Biography

Nicholas Edward Foles, born on January 20, 1989, is an American former professional football quarterback who played in the National Football League for 11 seasons. Foles has played for six teams, achieving his most notable success with the Philadelphia Eagles, who he led to their first Super Bowl victory. He played college football for the Arizona Wildcats and was chosen by the Eagles in the third round of the 2012 NFL draft. In 2013, Foles set the NFL season record for the best touchdown–interception ratio and guided the Eagles to a division title, earning a Pro Bowl selection. Foles played one season with the St. Louis Rams after being traded due to his inability to maintain prior performance levels. During his college career, Foles threw for 5,658 yards and 56 touchdowns, surpassing most of the school’s previous records. After a year at Michigan State, he transferred to the University of Arizona and redshirted his 2008 freshman season.
