Nelly Korda Biography

Nelly Korda, born on July 28, 1998, is an American professional golfer who competes on the LPGA Tour. She has won four major championships, including the 2021 Women's PGA Championship and the 2024 and 2026 Chevron Championships. Korda has secured 24 professional titles, with 19 of those victories on the LPGA Tour, and earned a gold medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She has represented the United States in four Solheim Cups, including the winning team in 2024. Korda turned professional in 2016 and claimed her first professional title at the Sioux Falls GreatLIFE Challenge that same year. In September she joined the U.S. team that won the Solheim Cup and concluded the year with seven individual LPGA Tour titles, earning Player of the Year recognition. In 2018 Nelly Korda won her first LPGA Tour title, making her and Jessica the third sister duo to each claim LPGA victories, and in 2019 they became the first sisters to compete together in a Solheim Cup match.
