Victor Moritz Wagner, born on 26 April 1997, is a German professional basketball player who has competed in the National Basketball Association. He began his career in the youth system of Alba Berlin before moving to the United States to play college basketball for the Michigan Wolverines from 2015 through 2017. Wagner entered the 2017 NBA draft without hiring an agent but later withdrew and returned to Michigan to complete his college eligibility. He developed through the youth ranks of Alba Berlin, where he first gained recognition in German basketball circles. In the 2013–14 season, Wagner played for Alba Berlin's under-19 Bundesliga team, which secured the German championship title. His recruitment by the University of Michigan was initiated in 2014 after a former coaching contact in Germany emailed head coach John Beilein. On 19 March 2017, Wagner scored a career-high 26 points, contributing to Michigan's 73–69 victory over Louisville and advancing to the NCAA tournament's Sweet 16.
