Min Woo Lee Biography

Min Woo Lee, born on 27 July 1998, is an Australian professional golfer who competes on the PGA Tour and the European Tour. He claimed victories at the 2020 ISPS Handa Vic Open, the 2021 Abrdn Scottish Open, and the 2023 Fortinet Australian PGA Championship on the European Tour. Despite these wins, he recorded only ten top-10 finishes in the season and ended the year ranked 117th in the Order of Merit. His 2021 Scottish Open win granted him automatic qualification for the 2021 Open Championship. In May 2023, Lee secured special temporary membership on the PGA Tour. He achieved a tournament record score of 254, finishing 30-under-par, and won wire-to-wire by two shots over Poom Saksansin. When Min Woo Lee won the 2016 U.S. Junior Amateur, he joined his sister Minjee Lee, who won the U.S. Girls' Junior in 2012, as the first sibling pair to claim USGA junior titles.
