Mike Evans Biography

Michael Lynn Evans Jr. was born on August 21, 1993, and has played as a professional football wide receiver in the NFL. In 2013, he recorded 1,394 receiving yards on 69 receptions, setting a Texas A&M school record. He was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft with the seventh overall pick. Evans earned second-team All-Pro honors in 2016 and 2023, and has been selected to the Pro Bowl six times. He was a key contributor on the team that won Super Bowl LV. As a senior in high school, he averaged 18.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 5.2 assists in basketball. During his senior year, he made 25 receptions for 648 yards and seven touchdowns, earning second-team District 24-4A honors.
