Marvin Harrison Biography

Marvin Darnell Harrison Sr. was born on August 25, 1972, and played his entire 13-year professional career with the Indianapolis Colts in the NFL. He was selected by the Colts in the first round of the 1996 NFL draft after playing college football for the Syracuse Orange. Harrison won a Super Bowl ring with the Colts when they defeated the Chicago Bears in Super Bowl XLI. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016 and into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2026. He was a three-year starter at Syracuse University, where he played alongside quarterback Donovan McNabb during his final season. His 1,131 receiving yards in a single season set a school record until it was surpassed in 2016. Harrison held the school record for 2,718 career receiving yards until it was broken in 2017 by Steve Ishmael.
