Mark Valentino Ingram II, born on December 21, 1989, is an American former professional football running back who now serves as an on-air personality for Fox Sports. Ingram has played 12 seasons in the National Football League, establishing a career across multiple teams. He was selected by the New Orleans Saints in the first round of the 2011 NFL draft, marking the start of his professional career. Ingram received an athletic scholarship to attend the University of Alabama, where he played for coach Nick Saban from 2008 to 2010. In the 2009 season opener, Ingram was named player of the game in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game, recording 150 rushing yards and scoring on both a rush and a reception. On January 14, 2026, Ingram was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame, recognizing his collegiate achievements. On August 12, 2011, Ingram scored his first career touchdown as a Saint with a 14-yard run during a preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers.
