Lonzo Anderson Ball, born October 27, 1997, is an American professional basketball player who has played for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the National Basketball Association. A point guard, he played one season with the UCLA Bruins and earned consensus first-team All-American honors before being selected second overall in the 2017 NBA draft by the Los Angeles Lakers. As a senior in 2016, he led Chino Hills High School to a 35–0 record and a national top ranking, earning multiple national high school player of the year awards alongside his brothers LiAngelo and LaMelo. As a college freshman in 2016–17, he led the nation in assists and set a new UCLA record for most assists in a single season. He was awarded the Wayman Tisdale Award, recognizing him as the top freshman in college basketball that year. After the 2024–25 season, he was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers. He has averaged 23.9 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 11.7 assists per game.
