Logan Gilbert Biography

Logan Keith Gilbert, born on May 5, 1997, is an American professional baseball pitcher who has played in Major League Baseball. He made his MLB debut in 2021 and earned All-Star recognition in 2024. As a freshman in 2016, he appeared in 21 games with five starts, posting a 2–1 record and a 2.74 ERA with 43 strikeouts in 49 innings. In 2017, as a sophomore, he made 12 starts in 15 appearances, recording a 10–0 record with a 2.02 ERA and 107 strikeouts in 89 innings. He was ranked among the top 20 prospects for the 2018 Major League Baseball draft. His professional debut occurred as the 2019 Opening Day starter for the West Virginia Power. He did not play in any official games during 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
