LeSean McCoy Biography

LeSean McCoy, born on July 12, 1988, is an American former professional football player who played as a running back in the National Football League. He played college football for the Pittsburgh Panthers and was chosen by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round of the 2009 NFL draft. In 2007, his first season at Pittsburgh, he rushed for over 1,300 yards and scored 14 touchdowns. In 2008, he was named a second-team All-American for his performance with the Panthers. In 2011, he earned first-team All-Pro recognition for his contributions on the field. In 2013, he led the NFL in rushing yards with 1,607 and broke the Eagles' single-season rushing record that had stood for 34 years. After the 2014 season, he became the all-time leading rusher for the Eagles, surpassing the record previously held by Wilbert Montgomery.
