Cecil Lee Rouson, born October 18, 1962, is an American former professional football player who played as a running back in the National Football League. He has played a total of seven seasons for the New York Giants and Cleveland Browns. After playing college football at Colorado, Rouson was chosen by the Giants in the eighth round of the 1985 NFL draft. After high school, Rouson attended the University of Colorado Boulder. While playing for the Buffaloes, he earned Freshman All Big Eight team honors in 1981 and participated in the Blue–Gray Football Classic. Rouson contributed with 54 carries for 179 yards and two touchdowns, along with eight receptions for 121 yards and one additional touchdown. Rouson remained a consistent contributor for the Giants during the 1990 season, helping secure a 20–19 victory over the Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl XXV.
