Larry Darnell Fitzgerald Jr., born August 31, 1983, played 17 seasons as a wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals in the NFL. He earned unanimous All-American honors during his college career with the Pittsburgh Panthers in 2003. Fitzgerald was chosen by the Cardinals with the third overall pick in the 2004 NFL draft. He was selected to the Pro Bowl eleven times over his professional career. He earned first-team All-Pro recognition in 2008 and was named second-team All-Pro in 2009 and 2011. As a teenager, Fitzgerald worked as a ball boy for the Minnesota Vikings under coach Dennis Green in 2015. In the 2002 Insight Bowl, he recorded five receptions for 88 yards and a touchdown in a 38–13 win over Oregon State.
