Kyrie Irving Biography

Kyrie Andrew Irving, born on March 23, 1992, is an American professional basketball player who has competed in the National Basketball Association. Selected first overall in the 2011 NBA draft, Irving was named Rookie of the Year after joining the Cleveland Cavaliers. He has earned nine All-Star selections and three All-NBA Team honors, including winning an NBA championship with the Cavaliers in 2016. Before entering the NBA, Irving played one season of college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils in 2011. Irving was awarded the Most Valuable Player title in the 2014 All-Star Game for his standout performance. His decision not to receive a COVID-19 vaccine resulted in missing most of the 2021–2022 NBA season. Throughout his career, Irving has publicly expressed various conspiracy theories.
