Kyren Williams, born on August 26, 2000, is an American professional football running back who has played for the Los Angeles Rams in the National Football League. He played college football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and was selected by the Rams in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL draft. During his junior season, Williams recorded 922 rushing yards, 22 touchdowns, 51 receptions, 774 receiving yards, and 12 receiving touchdowns. As a senior in high school, he rushed for 2,035 yards and 26 touchdowns, caught 55 passes for 725 yards, and helped lead Vianney to an 11–3 record and the MSHSAA Class 5 State Championship. In the Class 5 state final against Fort Osage, he rushed for a record 289 yards in a 28–14 victory and was named the St. Louis Metro Area Offensive Player of the Year. Williams was named Notre Dame's starting running back for his sophomore year in 2020. On December 10, 2021, he declared for the 2022 NFL draft and opted out of playing in the Fiesta Bowl.
