Kyle Schwarber Biography

Kyle Joseph Schwarber, born on March 5, 1993, is an American professional baseball player who serves as a left fielder and designated hitter in Major League Baseball. He has played for the Chicago Cubs, Washington Nationals, and Boston Red Sox during his MLB career. Schwarber also represents the United States national baseball team in international competitions. He played college baseball at Indiana University before being selected by the Cubs in the first round of the 2014 MLB draft. In 2021, Schwarber joined the Nationals and was later traded to the Red Sox, earning his first All-Star selection that year. He was named an All-Star again in 2025 and was awarded the game's MVP honor. On August 28, 2025, Schwarber became the 21st player in MLB history to hit four home runs in a single game.
